On Sukkot, October 12, 2014, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement was supposed to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem and to demonstrate, calling the Israeli government to stop Arab Islamic violence against Israelis and even against tourists who are going up to the Holy Temple Mount. On this particular morning many Arab rioters gathered themselves on the Holy Temple Mount, carrying an arsenal of stones and other violent means to stop the Temple Mount Faithful Movement from making the Sukkot pilgrimage to the site of the Holy Temple. At the same time, 80,000 Israelis came to the Western Wall Plaza for the annual priestly blessing of Sukkot that, long ago, was conducted on the Holy Temple Mount when the Holy Temple was standing. The Israeli security forces decided to close the gate of the Holy Temple Mount before the Faithful Movement and other Israeli pilgrims intended to go up because of fear that the rioters would not only attack the members of the Faithful Movement, but would also attack many Israelis at the Western Wall, utilizing stones and other means like they have done many times in the past. The Faithful Movement was also asked to make her demonstration at a later time. The police officers apologized to the Faithful Movement for the decision to close the Holy Temple Mount.
The Faithful Movement protested against this wrong decision and stated that this decision is a result of the weakness of the Israeli leadership, especially the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Gershon Salomon, chairman of the Faithful Movement, stated that this weakness of our leadership will encourage rioters and their leaders from the Hamas terror organization and from the Fatah terror organization, along with it's leader, Abu Mazen, to make much more violence on the Holy Temple Mount against Israelis and against Israeli sovereignty on the Holy Temple Mount. Gershon called the Israeli government to immediately close the gates of the Holy Temple Mount before Arab violence and riots erupted but not before Israelis who were coming peacefully to worship the G‑d of Israel at the most holy place of the Jewish people, the location of the Holy Temple. Gershon also blamed Great Britain, who just recently recognized a foreign Palestinian state in the midst of the Land of Israel, in biblical Jerusalem, and the Holy Temple Mount. This decision, and the pressure from US President Obama and the European Union, to establish a foreign Palestinian state of terror and evil — that never existed and never will exist in the Land of Israel — also encouraged the Arab rioters and their leaders toward violence against Jews on the Holy Temple Mount and even throughout the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, during the past few months and especially most recently. Just this week an Arab terrorist killed an Israeli infant of 3 months and a young woman and wounded eight additional individuals on a light railway track in Jerusalem. Just weeks ago the Israeli police station on the Holy Temple Mount was set afire and burned by Arab rioters and the police were expelled. It was a continuation of a series of terrible attacks against the sovereignty of Israel and against Israel's rule of law on the Holy Temple Mount, all of which were shameful atrocities. Later, the Israeli police needed to use force to return to the Holy Temple Mount in order to repair the police station.
The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful is calling everyone in the world to take part in her godly historical campaign and work. Time is very short. Soon we shall stand hand-in-hand in the rebuilt House of G‑d on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem. With great joy we shall thank the Almighty G‑d of Israel for giving all of us such an important part in the rebuilding of His Holy Temple and in establishing from Jerusalem an end-time godly and moral age that will change the face of humanity exactly as G‑d prophesied:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the G‑d of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more.... But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken it." (Isaiah 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-4)
