The special day of 18 Tishrei 5778, October 8, 2017, will never be forgotten in the history of Israel and even of the entire world. Again biblical reality came to life in the streets of biblical Jerusalem and the area surrounding the Holy Temple Mount. A special biblical Sukkot Anniversary Pilgrimage March was conducted by the Faithful Movement that was like never before! On this special day, the Faithful Movement marked and celebrated the more than 3,000 year anniversary of the building and dedication of the First Holy Temple by King Solomon when he moved the Holy Ark of the Covenant from the City of David to the Holy of Holies of the Temple. At the climax of this exciting historical day, we also marked the 27th year since the celebration and dedication of the first cornerstone to be prepared (weighing 6½ tons & constructed according to biblical Law) since the destruction of the Second Holy Temple in the year 70 ce. This cornerstone was dedicated for the Third Holy Temple during Sukkot in the year 1990 by the Faithful Movement who carried it to the southern gates of the Holy Temple Mount to the same location in the City of David where King David placed the Holy Ark of the Covenant more than 3,000 years ago. The Holy Ark was later moved to the Holy of Holies in the First Holy Temple by David's son, King Solomon.
The Faithful Movement's special Sukkot 2017 Anniversary Pilgrimage March will never be forgotten in the memory and the history of Israel and even of the entire world. We commemorated the unveiling of the cornerstone for the Third Holy Temple which opened a new era in the history of Israel and even in the entire world. It signaled the beginning of the construction of the Third Holy Temple despite that the authorities did not allow us to place the cornerstone inside the Holy Temple Mount. The Israeli authorities thought this would create major rioting against Israel by her Islamic enemies and could even cause an apocalyptic war involving the entire world. In response, the Faithful Movement immediately published a declaration which proclaimed the decision of the authorities was a major and sinful mistake! Instead of trusting the Word and the promises of the Almighty G‑d of Israel that He will stand with His people Israel in all circumstances, and that together with Him, Israel will be the majority and the entire world a minority, they preferred to put their trust in human powers. The building of the Third Holy Temple will, indeed, change the face of all mankind and will usher in a new age marked by love between all peoples and real worldwide peace that was never known before, exactly as was prophesied by the prophets of Israel:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the G—d of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more.... But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken it." (Isaiah 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-4)
This special Sukkot 2017 year marked the 3,000 year anniversary of the building of the First Holy Temple and the Jubilee Year of the liberation of the Holy Temple Mount in the godly war of 1967 and also the twenty-seventh year since the preparation and delivery of the first cornerstone ever for the Third Holy Temple by the Faithful Movement. All of these commemorations celebrated together created an exciting and historic atmosphere in Jerusalem and throughout Israel.
At this godly location in 1990, Gershon declared that the Faithful Movement will continue her campaign and work to build the Third Holy Temple on the Holy Temple Mount, the location that G‑d chose in the center of Jerusalem to dwell among His people Israel and in the midst of the entire world. This is, indeed, the same location where Israel built and glorified for the honor of the Almighty G‑d of Israel the First and the Second Holy Temples. Gershon also declared that the Faithful Movement will continue her work and efforts to recover the Ark of the Covenant that will be laid in the Holy of Holies of the Third Holy Temple.
Gershon also shared about the incredible historical moments he experienced with the great rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Yehuda Getz, in the year 1982 when they came very close to discovering the true location of the Ark of the Covenant by entering a mysterious tunnel under the Holy Temple Mount. This tunnel, most likely, leads to the secret room where the Ark of the Covenant was placed by King Josiah, the king of the House of David. Rabbi Yehuda Getz, himself, discovered the holy tunnel and shared it with Gershon in the middle of an historical night of that year. When Gershon stood in this tunnel, the 'tunnel of priests', he swore before the G‑d of Israel that he would not rest until the most Holy Ark of G‑d is recovered and laid in the Holy of Holies of the Third Holy Temple. Shining before Gershon's spiritual eyes was the age-old Israeli tradition that says: once the Ark of the Covenant is found and picked-up, the rebuilding of the Third Holy Temple will begin immediately. In the near future, Gershon will share much more about this major, “mysterious” and exciting experience in which only Rabbi Getz and Gershon were involved, exclusively.
The historical Sukkot 2017 Anniversary Pilgrimage March of the Faithful Movement started at the biblical Jaffa Gate in the Old City. We marched and danced together with an exciting Jewish Levitical orchestra who also blew from two silver trumpets reconstructed according to biblical law by the Faithful Movement and will be used in the Third Holy Temple. At the plaza of the gate, we read the great Psalm 122 of King David into the ears of all Israel and all of the world who so often have the chutzpah to claim the lie that Jerusalem and the Holy Temple Mount do not belong to Israel, but rather belong to the Muslims. After reading the Psalm of David, we heard the beautiful sound of the two trumpets that Israel was called by G‑d to blow during the festivals and the holy days of His people. The trumpets were blown by Robert and Marcelyn Bracha, who made aliyah to Israel from the United States a few years ago and settled together in the biblical area of Judah. The magical trumpet sounds echoed David's words:
"I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD: when our feet stood within thy gates, O Jerusalem; O Jerusalem, built as a city that is compact together: there the tribes used to go up, the tribes of the LORD, an appointed practice for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they who love thee shall prosper: peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. For the sake of the house of the LORD our G‑d I will seek thy good.” (Psalm 122:1-8)
Friends and members of the Faithful Movement from around the world and especially from the United States joined the pilgrimage and marched together with the Faithful Movement. Their dream was to march to the Holy Temple Mount with the Faithful Movement during the Feast of Sukkot. The annual Sukkot Feast (the Feast of Tabernacles) is when the G‑d of Israel calls on the nations to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, His Holy Mountain, and His Holy Temple:
“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations who came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of booths....Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keeps the sabbath and does not profane it, and all that hold fast to my covenant. Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” (Zechariah 14:16; Isaiah 56:6,7)
The Sukkot 2017 Pilgrimage March of the Faithful Movement together with the beloved friends, lovers of Zion and Israel, through the narrow historical streets of the Old City, created an exciting biblical atmosphere. All the way to the Holy Temple Mount, we danced to biblical melodies together with the Levitical orchestra who played holy music in the streets of biblical Jerusalem. All along the way, many thousands of Israelis who came to the Sukkot pilgrimage became so excited that they clapped their hands and danced together with us. It was a sight that has not been seen or experienced in Jerusalem for so many years. It marked a new stage in the redemption of Israel and the fulfillment of the major event of the building of the Third Holy Temple that the Faithful Movement dedicated herself to bring to pass during the life of our generation.
