In a very special and critical time in the history of Israel and the entire world, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement marched on the third day of the Festival of Pesach, 17 Nisan 5771 (April 21, 2011), to the Holy Temple Mount carrying the "Omer" as an offering to the G‑d of Israel, exactly as our forefathers did when they made their pilgrimages from every corner of the Land of Israel to the Holy House of G‑d in Jerusalem. Like our forefathers, we answered the call of G‑d and the call and desire of our hearts to renew the practice in our days exactly as in biblical times, and to rebuild the Holy Temple of G‑d in Jerusalem and to fulfill the biblical godly mission given to Israel: to be "a holy nation, a kingdom of priests and the light to the nations" (Exodus 19:6), when G‑d dwells in the midst of His people in Jerusalem, in the midst of the entire world.
In a time when most of the nations throughout the world are blind and do not see or recognize the major godly event that is taking place in Israel, where the G‑d of Israel is rebuilding His Kingdom together with His people Israel in the Holy Land in order to open a new godly moral age in the life of the entire world, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement marched to the Holy Temple Mount to say to the entire world: stop your pressure on Israel to establish a "Palestinian" Islamic state of terror and hatred in the midst of the Holy Land of Israel and Jerusalem. We came to say to all of the nations that they cannot change the plans of G‑d to accomplish the redemption of the people and the Land of Israel through the rebuilding of His Holy Temple in Jerusalem, where G‑d and His Holy Word will dwell in the midst of the capital of His people and from this most Holy City enlighten all the world:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the L‑rd's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all the nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the L‑rd, to the house of the G‑d of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the L‑rd from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall decide among many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war any more. And they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the L‑rd of hosts has spoken it." (Isaiah 2:2-4, Micah 4:1-4)
During this Pesach everyone in Israel could feel the special atmosphere and the significance of this special time all over the Land of Israel, and especially in Jerusalem and on the Holy Temple Mount. When we demonstrated our call in front of the Holy Temple Mount, we could feel the divine presence of the G‑d of Israel in the midst of us. During this Pesach festival, when tens of thousands of Israelis came to the Western Wall of the Holy Temple Mount to pray for the redemption of the Holy Mountain of G‑d and for the rebuilding of His Holy Temple, we could feel and almost hear the steps of Messiah ben David in Jerusalem. When we heard the priestly blessing spoken by hundreds of priests in front of the Western Wall of the Holy Temple Mount, exactly as was done in the Holy Temple during biblical times, we realized that G‑d is going to soon fulfill the campaign of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement and will bring to pass all of our desires.
This year the "Omer" offering that was carried along with us during the march to the Holy Temple Mount was cut from the mountains of Samaria, the land of the Ten Tribes. The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is making efforts to regather the Ten Tribes back to their own land in Samaria and to reunite them with their brothers from the Tribes of Judah and Benjamin. This will fulfill the end-time vision and desire of G‑d and His people Israel, and will again make them together "one stick" and one nation under the G‑d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as it was prophesied:
"Thus says the L‑rd G‑d; Behold I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions, and will put them and it together with the stick of Judah to form one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.... and I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king over them all: and they shall no more be two nations, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all." (Ezekiel 37:19,22)
The "Omer" offering was not just a symbolic event but rather a very practical one, and it was a precursor to the "Omer" event that will soon take place in the Holy Third Temple that we pray and intensively work towards its soon rebuilding. The atmosphere at that great moment when we offered the "Omer" to G‑d was very holy and exciting. Suddenly the Word of G‑d to Moses became real again. It was as if we could hear the G‑d of Israel speaking to Moses:
"And the L‑rd spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When you are come to the land which I give to you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring an 'omer' of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest: and he shall wave the 'omer' before the L‑rd, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it." (Leviticus 23:9-11)
The pilgrimage of Pesach was very exciting and inspiring; it was the highlight of this event. Just to know and to feel that you are walking on the holy ground, the Holy Mountain where the Shekina of G‑d dwells in the midst of Jerusalem among His People Israel, and to feel the presence of the G‑d of Israel so strongly and inspiring; the holy ground where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob walked. The Holy Hill of G‑d where King David, and all the other kings of Israel, the prophets of Israel, and many millions of Israelites walked and came to worship the Creator -- the G‑d of Israel, to show Him their love and to feel His love toward them and to return home with a blessing that will inspire their lives. Even as I write these words I feel the excitement in my heart and in all of my body, and I am thankful to the Beloved G‑d of Israel that He gave my friends and the privilege to born in such a great generation of redemption and to dedicate our lives toward the rebuilding of the Holy Temple of G‑d on the Holy Temple Mount -- Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, to make a house of love and prayer for Israel and the entire world, for the rebuilding of His Holy Kingdom, to once again make Israel the biblical nation that fulfills the mission of G‑d for all of the nations.
This historic event ended with "Ha Tikvah," the national anthem of Israel:
"As long as a Jewish heart beats and as long as Jewish eyes look eastward,
then our 2000 years hope to be a free nation in Zion and Jerusalem is not lost."
We swore that the eyes and the hearts of the Israeli people will always be directed eastward toward the Holy Temple Mount, where the G‑d of Israel and the universe dwells.
The pilgrimage to the Holy Temple Mount was the climax of the entire Pesach event. This profound event in the redemptive history of Israel and of all mankind was a major step in the campaign of the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple of G‑d in Jerusalem and for the fulfillment of the prophetic end-time plans for Israel and for all mankind. It was an important step in our prophetic goal to return the Shekina of the G‑d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to His rebuilt house on the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem, in precisely the same location as the First and Second Holy Temples. Throughout this important pilgrimage we felt that the fulfillment of this major goal will come to pass in the lifetime of our generation and it will plant in the midst of the life of Israel and all of mankind the Word of G‑d and His morals and principles. The sacred atmosphere of the Holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem during this special event conveyed to us that this end-time vision of G‑d is soon to come about.
